BNV : শমূয়েল তার তেলের বোতল শৌলের মাথায় ঢেলে দিল| তারপর সে শৌলকে চুমু খেয়ে বলল, “প্রভু তোমাকেই তাঁর লোকদের নেতা হিসাবে মনোনীত করেছেন| তুমিই প্রভুর লোকদের নিয়ন্ত্রণ করবে| চতুর্দিকে যে সব শত্রু আছে তাদের হাত থেকে তুমি তাদের বাঁচাবে| এই চিহ্ন থেকে বুঝবে কথাটা সত্য|
KJV : Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured [it] upon his head, and kissed him, and said, [Is it] not because the LORD hath anointed thee [to be] captain over his inheritance?
YLT : And Samuel taketh the vial of the oil, and poureth on his head, and kisseth him, and saith, `Is it not because Jehovah hath appointed thee over His inheritance for leader?
RV : Then Samuel took the vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not that the LORD hath anointed thee to be prince over his inheritance?
RSV : Then Samuel took a vial of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said, "Has not the LORD anointed you to be prince over his people Israel? And you shall reign over the people of the LORD and you will save them from the hand of their enemies round about. And this shall be the sign to you that the LORD has anointed you to be prince over his heritage.
ASV : Then Samuel took the vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not that Jehovah hath anointed thee to be prince over his inheritance?
ESV : Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head and kissed him and said, "Has not the LORD anointed you to be prince over his people Israel? And you shall reign over the people of the LORD and you will save them from the hand of their surrounding enemies. And this shall be the sign to you that the LORD has anointed you to be prince over his heritage.
ERVEN : Samuel took a jar of the special oil and poured the oil on Saul's head. Samuel kissed Saul and said, "The Lord has anointed you to be the leader over the people who belong to him. You will control the people. You will save them from the enemies that are all around them. He has anointed you to be ruler over his people. Here is a sign that will prove this is true:

BNV : আমার কাছ থেকে চলে যাবার পর তুমি রাচেলের সমাধির কাছে বিন্যামীন সীমানার সেল্সহতে দুটি লোকের সাক্ষাত্‌ পাবে| ঐ লোক দুটো তোমাকে বলবে, “যে গাধাগুলো তোমরা খুঁজছ তা কোন একজন দেখতে পেয়েছে| তোমার পিতা আর গাধাগুলো নিয়ে দুশ্চিন্তা করছেন না, বরং তোমাকে নিয়েই তাঁর যত ভাবনা| শুধু বলছেন, আমার পুত্রের ব্যাপারে আমি কি করব|”‘
KJV : When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
YLT : In thy going to-day from me -- then thou hast found two men by the grave of Rachel, in the border of Benjamin, at Zelzah, and they have said unto thee, The asses have been found which thou hast gone to seek; and lo, thy father hath left the matter of the asses, and hath sorrowed for you, saying, What do I do for my son?
RV : When thou art departed from me today, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel-s sepulchre, in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and taketh thought for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
RSV : When you depart from me today you will meet two men by Rachel's tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, `The asses which you went to seek are found, and now your father has ceased to care about the asses and is anxious about you, saying, "What shall I do about my son?"'
ASV : When thou art departed from me to-day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachels sepulchre, in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found; and, lo, thy father hath left off caring for the asses, and is anxious for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
ESV : When you depart from me today, you will meet two men by Rachel's tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, 'The donkeys that you went to seek are found, and now your father has ceased to care about the donkeys and is anxious about you, saying, "What shall I do about my son?"'
ERVEN : After you leave me today, you will meet two men near Rachel's tomb on the border of Benjamin at Zelzah. The two men will say to you, 'Someone found the donkeys you were looking for. Your father stopped worrying about his donkeys. Now he is worrying about you. He is saying: What will I do about my son?'"

BNV : শমূয়েল বলল, “তারপর যেতে যেতে তাবোরের কাছে একটা বড় ওক গাছ দেখতে পাবে| সেখানে তিনজন লোক তোমার সঙ্গে দেখা করবে| ঐ তিনজন বৈথেলে ঈশ্বরের উপাসনার জন্য যাচ্ছে| তুমি তাদের মধ্যে একজনের সঙ্গে তিনটে বাচ্চা ছাগল দেখতে পাবে| দ্বিতীয় জনের কাছে থাকবে তিন টুকরো রুটি| তৃতীয় জনের কাছে থাকবে এক বোতল দ্রাক্ষারস|
KJV : Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
YLT : `And thou hast passed on thence, and beyond, and hast come in unto the oak of Tabor, and found thee there have three men going up unto God to Beth-El, one bearing three kids, and one bearing three cakes of bread, and one bearing a bottle of wine,
RV : Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the oak of Tabor, and there shall meet thee there three men going up to God to Beth-el, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
RSV : Then you shall go on from there further and come to the oak of Tabor; three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you there, one carrying three kids, another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine.
ASV : Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the oak of Tabor; and there shall meet thee there three men going up to God to Beth-el, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
ESV : Then you shall go on from there further and come to the oak of Tabor. Three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you there, one carrying three young goats, another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine.
ERVEN : Samuel said, "Then you will go until you come to the large oak tree at Tabor. Three men will meet you there. They will be on their way to worship God at Bethel. One man will be carrying three young goats. The second man will be carrying three loaves of bread. And the third man will have a bottle of wine.

BNV : এই তিনজন লোক তোমায় অভিবাদন করবে| তারা তোমায় দু-টুকরো রুটি দেবে| তুমি তাদের কাছ থেকে সেটা নেবে|
KJV : And they will salute thee, and give thee two [loaves] of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.
YLT : and they have asked of thee of welfare, and given to thee two loaves, and thou hast received from their hand.
RV : and they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hand.
RSV : And they will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall accept from their hand.
ASV : and they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread, which thou shalt receive of their hand.

ERVEN : These three men will say hello to you. They will offer you two loaves of bread, and you will accept the two loaves.

BNV : তারপর তুমি যাবে গিবিয়াথ এলোহিম| সেখানে একটা পলেষ্টীয় দুর্গ আছে| এই শহরে তুমি যখন আসবে তখন একদল ভাববাদী বের হয়ে আসবে| তারা আসবে উপাসনার স্থান থেকে| তারা ভাববাণীকরতে থাকবে| তারা বীণা, তম্বুরা, বাঁশি ও অন্যান্য তন্ত্রবাদ্য বাজাবে|
KJV : After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where [is] the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:
YLT : `Afterwards thou dost come unto the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines [is], and it cometh to pass, at thy coming in thither to the city, that thou hast met a band of prophets coming down from the high place, and before them psaltery, and tabret, and pipe, and harp, and they are prophesying;
RV : After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a band of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a timbrel, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall be prophesying:
RSV : After that you shall come to Gibeathelohim, where there is a garrison of the Philistines; and there, as you come to the city, you will meet a band of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying.
ASV : After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a band of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a timbrel, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they will be prophesying:
ESV : After that you shall come to Gibeath-elohim, where there is a garrison of the Philistines. And there, as soon as you come to the city, you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying.
ERVEN : Then you will go to Gibeath Elohim. There is a Philistine fort in that place. When you come to this town, a group of prophets will come out. These prophets will come down from the place for worship. They will be prophesying. They will be playing harps, tambourines, flutes, and lyres.

BNV : তারপর প্রভুর আত্মা তোমার ওপর সবলে ভর করবেন| তুমি বদলে যাবে| তুমি একজন আলাদা ব্যক্তির মত হবে| তুমি অন্য ভাববাদীদের সঙ্গে ভাববাণী করতে শুরু করবে|
KJV : And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
YLT : and prospered over thee hath the Spirit of Jehovah, and thou hast prophesied with them, and hast been turned to another man;
RV : and the spirit of the LORD will come mightily upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
RSV : Then the spirit of the LORD will come mightily upon you, and you shall prophesy with them and be turned into another man.
ASV : and the Spirit of Jehovah will come mightily upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
ESV : Then the Spirit of the LORD will rush upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.
ERVEN : Then the Lord's Spirit will come on you with great power. You will be changed. You will be like a different man. You will begin to prophesy with these prophets.

BNV : যখন এইসব চিহ্নগুলি পরিপূর্ণ হবে, তখন তুমি যা চাইবে তাই করতে পারবে| কারণ তখন ঈশ্বর তোমার সঙ্গেই বিরাজ করবেন|
KJV : And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, [that] thou do as occasion serve thee; for God [is] with thee.
YLT : and it hath been, when these signs come to thee -- do for thyself as thy hand findeth, for God [is] with thee.
RV : And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.
RSV : Now when these signs meet you, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.
ASV : And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion shall serve thee; for God is with thee.
ESV : Now when these signs meet you, do what your hand finds to do, for God is with you.
ERVEN : After that happens, you can do whatever you choose to do, because God will be with you.

BNV : “এবার আমার আগে গিল্গলে যাও| আমি তোমাকে যেতে দেখব| তারপর আমি সেখানে তোমার সঙ্গে দেখা করব| তারপর হোমবলি ও মঙ্গল নৈবেদ্য উত্সর্গ করব; কিন্তু সাতদিন তোমায় অপেক্ষা করতে হবে| তারপর আমি এসে তোমায কি করতে হবে বলে দেব|”
KJV : And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, [and] to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
YLT : `And thou hast gone down before me to Gilgal, and lo, I am going down unto thee, to cause to ascend burnt-offerings, to sacrifice sacrifices of peace-offerings; seven days thou dost wait till my coming in unto thee, and I have made known to thee that which thou dost do.`
RV : And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come unto thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
RSV : And you shall go down before me to Gilgal; and behold, I am coming to you to offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice peace offerings. Seven days you shall wait, until I come to you and show you what you shall do."
ASV : And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt-offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace-offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come unto thee, and show thee what thou shalt do.
ESV : Then go down before me to Gilgal. And behold, I am coming to you to offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice peace offerings. Seven days you shall wait, until I come to you and show you what you shall do."
ERVEN : "Go to Gilgal before me. Then I will come there to you. And I will offer burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. But you must wait seven days. Then I will come and tell you what to do."

BNV : শমূযেলের কাছ থেকে বিদায নিয়ে যে মূহুর্তে শৌল ঘাড় ফেরালেন, ঈশ্বর শৌলের হৃদয়ের সম্পূর্ণ পরিবর্তন ঘটালেন| সেই দিন ঐসব চিহ্নগুলি পরিপূর্ণ হয়েছিল|
KJV : And it was [so,] that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
YLT : And it hath been, at his turning his shoulder to go from Samuel, that God turneth to him another heart, and all these signs come on that day,
RV : And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
RSV : When he turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart; and all these signs came to pass that day.
ASV : And it was so, that, when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
ESV : When he turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart. And all these signs came to pass that day.
ERVEN : Just as Saul turned to leave Samuel, God turned Saul's life around. All these things happened that day.

BNV : শৌল আর তার ভৃত্য গিবিয়াথ এলোহিমে চলে গেল| সেখানে একদল ভাববাদীর সঙ্গে শৌলের দেখা হল| সেই সময় শৌলের ওপর সবলে ঈশ্বরের আত্মা নেমে এল| অন্য ভাববাদীদের সঙ্গে তিনিও ভাববাণী করলেন|
KJV : And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.
YLT : and they come in thither to the height, and lo, a band of prophets -- to meet him, and prosper over him doth the Spirit of God, and he prophesieth in their midst.
RV : And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he prophesied among them.
RSV : When they came to Gibeah, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he prophesied among them.
ASV : And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he prophesied among them.
ESV : When they came to Gibeah, behold, a group of prophets met him, and the Spirit of God rushed upon him, and he prophesied among them.
ERVEN : When Saul and his servant came to Gibeath Elohim, Saul met a group of prophets. God's Spirit came on Saul with great power, and Saul prophesied with the prophets.

BNV : যারা শৌলকে আগেই জানত, তারা এখন শৌলকে অন্য ভাববাদীদের সঙ্গে ভাববাণী করতে দেখল| তারা বলাবলি করল, “কীশের পুত্রর এ কি হল? শৌলও কি একজন ভাববাদী হয়ে গেল?”
KJV : And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What [is] this [that] is come unto the son of Kish? [Is] Saul also among the prophets?
YLT : And it cometh to pass, all his acquaintance heretofore, see, and lo, with prophets he hath prophesied, and the people say one unto another, `What [is] this hath happened to the son of Kish? is Saul also among the prophets?`
RV : And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
RSV : And when all who knew him before saw how he prophesied with the prophets, the people said to one another, "What has come over the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?"
ASV : And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
ESV : And when all who knew him previously saw how he prophesied with the prophets, the people said to one another, "What has come over the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?"
ERVEN : Some of the people who had known Saul before saw him prophesying with the prophets. So they asked each other, "What has happened to Kish's son? Is Saul also one the prophets?"

BNV : একটি লোক যে গিবিয়াথ এলোহিমে থাকত, সে বলল, “ওদের পিতা কে?” সেই থেকে এই কথাটা একটা প্রসিদ্ধ প্রবাদে পরিণত হয়েছে: “শৌলও কি ভাববাদীদের মধ্যে একজন?”
KJV : And one of the same place answered and said, But who [is] their father? Therefore it became a proverb, [Is] Saul also among the prophets?
YLT : And a man thence answereth and saith, `And who [is] their father?` therefore it hath been for a simile, `Is Saul also among the prophets?`
RV : And one of the same place answered and said, And who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?
RSV : And a man of the place answered, "And who is their father?" Therefore it became a proverb, "Is Saul also among the prophets?"
ASV : And one of the same place answered and said, And who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?
ESV : And a man of the place answered, "And who is their father?" Therefore it became a proverb, "Is Saul also among the prophets?"
ERVEN : A man living in Gibeath Elohim said, "Yes, and it seems that he is their leader." That is why this became a famous saying: "Is Saul also one of the prophets?"

BNV : ভাববাণী করবার পর, সে তার বাড়ির কাছে উপাসনার জায়গায় পৌঁছল|
KJV : And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.
YLT : And he ceaseth from prophesying, and cometh in to the high place,
RV : And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.
RSV : When he had finished prophesying, he came to the high place.
ASV : And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.
ESV : When he had finished prophesying, he came to the high place.
ERVEN : After Saul finished prophesying, he went to the place of worship.

BNV : শৌলের কাকা শৌলকে ও তার ভৃত্যকে জিজ্ঞাসা করল, “তোমরা কোথায় ছিলে?”শৌল বলল, “আমরা গাধা খুঁজতে গিয়েছিলাম, কিন্তু গাধা খুঁজে না পেয়ে আমরা শমূযেলের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গিয়েছিলাম|”
KJV : And Saul’s uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses: and when we saw that [they were] no where, we came to Samuel.
YLT : and the uncle of Saul saith unto him, and unto his young man, `Whither went ye?` and he saith, `To seek the asses; and we see that they are not, and we come in unto Samuel.`
RV : And Saul-s uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses: and when we saw that they were not found, we came to Samuel.
RSV : Saul's uncle said to him and to his servant, "Where did you go?" And he said, "To seek the asses; and when we saw they were not to be found, we went to Samuel."
ASV : And Sauls uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses; and when we saw that they were not found, we came to Samuel.
ESV : Saul's uncle said to him and to his servant, "Where did you go?" And he said, "To seek the donkeys. And when we saw they were not to be found, we went to Samuel."
ERVEN : Saul's uncle asked Saul and his servant, "Where have you been?" Saul said, "We were looking for the donkeys. When we couldn't find them, we went to see Samuel."

BNV : শৌলের কাকা বলল, “শমূয়েল তোমায় কি বলল দয়া করে বল|”
KJV : And Saul’s uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.
YLT : And the uncle of Saul saith, `Declare, I pray thee, to me, what Samuel said to you?`
RV : And Saul-s uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.
RSV : And Saul's uncle said, "Pray, tell me what Samuel said to you."
ASV : And Sauls uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.
ESV : And Saul's uncle said, "Please tell me what Samuel said to you."
ERVEN : Saul's uncle said, "Please tell me, what did Samuel say to you?"

BNV : শৌল বলল, “শমূয়েল বলছে গাধাগুলো পাওয়া গেছে|” শৌল তার কাকাকে সবটা বলল না| রাজত্ব সম্বন্ধে শমূয়েল তাকে যা বলেছিল সে বিষযে শৌল কিছুই বলল না|
KJV : And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.
YLT : And Saul saith unto his uncle, `He certainly declared to us that the asses were found;` and of the matter of the kingdom he hath not declared to him that which Samuel said.
RV : And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But concerning the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.
RSV : And Saul said to his uncle, "He told us plainly that the asses had been found." But about the matter of the kingdom, of which Samuel had spoken, he did not tell him anything.
ASV : And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But concerning the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.
ESV : And Saul said to his uncle, "He told us plainly that the donkeys had been found." But about the matter of the kingdom, of which Samuel had spoken, he did not tell him anything.
ERVEN : Saul answered, "Samuel told us the donkeys were already found." He did not tell his uncle everything. Saul did not tell him what Samuel said about the kingdom.

BNV : শমূয়েল ইস্রাযেলবাসীদের মিস্পায প্রভুর সঙ্গে মিলিত হবার জন্যে বলল|
KJV : And Samuel called the people together unto the LORD to Mizpeh;
YLT : And Samuel calleth the people unto Jehovah to Mizpeh,
RV : And Samuel called the people together unto the LORD to Mizpah;
RSV : Now Samuel called the people together to the LORD at Mizpah;
ASV : And Samuel called the people together unto Jehovah to Mizpah;
ESV : Now Samuel called the people together to the LORD at Mizpah.
ERVEN : Samuel told all the Israelites to meet together with the Lord at Mizpah.

BNV : সে বলল, “ইস্রায়েলীয়দের ঈশ্বর, আমাদের প্রভু বলেন, ‘আমি ইস্রায়েলীয়দের মিশর থেকে বের করে এনেছি| আমি তোমাদের মিশরের ক্ষমতা থেকে এবং যে সমস্ত রাজ্যগুলি তোমাদের নিষ্পেষিত করে দুর্দশাগ্রস্ত করেছিল, তাদের থেকে বাঁচিয়েছি|’
KJV : And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, [and] of them that oppressed you:
YLT : and saith unto the sons of Israel, `Thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, I have brought up Israel out of Egypt, and I deliver you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all the kingdoms who are oppressing you;

He poked out the right eye of every Israelite man living in the area east of the Jordan River. But 7000 Israelite men ran away from the Ammonites and came to Jabesh Gilead.
